Joe: The whole texters series is a marvel, such variety, such humanity in all its forms. I keep trying to imagine how this will look to people 100 years from now, when who knows how people will be communicating. Also, you really rock with a telephoto in your hands.

Maybe in 100 years everyone will have an embedded chip, and shooting people communicating will be the same as shooting a portrait …

The texting series brings to our attention what may be the most quintessitial characteristic of this era. I can only hope that people in the future look back on it with amusement (and maybe horror). But maybe they’ll be on to something else that has them even more checked out.

I did not comment on the previous post of this picture, but I kept stopping and looking at it for some time every time. All that white makes it a strange and strong picture. It stands out in your production. I like it.

And I love Bryant Park. There are nice art studios and lofts on 40th street, by 6th, overlooking the park. Hummm… dream of calling this home someday ! Oh but humbler than that would do just as well.
